Lincolnshire Co-operative asked us to create a brand-new pharmacy by bringing two empty, neighbouring retail units together into a single store.
We were given design intent drawings for the retail and pharmacy areas from the project's designers. Our role was to turn that vision into a finished, fully working space, using our experience to resolve the detail and deliver it properly.
With both units standing empty, we were able to take the project back to the shell. Building works opened up the two separate retail spaces to form one larger unit, creating the footprint for the new pharmacy.
We then delivered the project as a full turnkey service: construction and building works, mechanical and electrical installation, and bespoke joinery fabricated in our own 14,500 sq ft facility in Burntwood, all installed by our own teams.
Every stage was managed by one TEK team, so the client had a single point of contact from the first works on site through to handover.
Two empty units have become one modern pharmacy and retail store, built to the designers' intent and handed over complete and ready to trade.
Bringing construction, MEP, manufacture and fit-out together under one contractor kept the programme coordinated and the quality consistent throughout.
